Stadler Rail (SBB)

SBB has ordered 60 new double-decker trains from Stadler Rail in 2021, which will be used in the Zurich/Mittelland region and western Switzerland. ErvoCom was contracted by Stadler Rheintal to supply the FIS audio system including HMI. The scope of delivery includes human machine interfaces DMI2177, public address system PAA2191, passenger & emergency intercoms FGSS2197/HRSS2197, train attendant intercoms TAI2197/TAI2207 and UIC gateways uCOB2200 for converting from UIC to VOP-SIP. The first trains have been successfully in operation since July 2023.
